Hi! I’m Alison, mom of two and a Registered Dietitian and Functional Nutritionist specializing in postpartum and motherhood health.

This answer from your doctor is some real BS. Feeling exhausted all of the time is NOT normal, and is indicative of something else going on. Energize is way more than meal plans and diet changes.

I already eat healthy. Is this program for me?
Yes. Energize is designed to help you feed your body in a way that is unique to your current needs, which may be different than what your needs were prior to having kids. This is not necessarily the same as a generally “healthy” or “clean” diet, and I find that many moms who say they are eating well are consuming a lot of great foods but not in the quantities or proportions that allow them to thrive. If you are a mom experiencing extreme fatigue, brain fog, feeling burnt out or depleted, Energize is for you.
How long will it take to start feeling better?
Everyone is different of course, and how quickly you can implement changes matters in the timeline. That said, once you’ve fully implemented the meal guide from the first module, I typically see changes in energy and mood within days to weeks for about 80% of my students. For the rest, the energy typically slowly comes back after fixing the roots from module 2.
I didn’t give birth to my kids but I still feel like garbaage - will this still apply to me?
Adoptive, surrogate and non-bio moms are welcome here. Some of the material is related to the physical act of pregnancy, birth and lactation but many principles are related to the stress, lack of sleep and universal motherhood experience of putting yourself last. This is for any human who mothers.

Will this help me lose extra weight?
My priority is to help you feel better. Although weight loss is not the focus of this program specifically, lack of energy is often a huge barrier to exercise and other activities that can assist with weight loss. Some moms find weight management easier once their bodies have what they need.
I’m a vegetarian or have food restrictions. Will I be able to follow the food plan?
Yes. My food and meal recommendations follow a formula where you can plug your favorite foods into each category. The meal plans and recipes are for ease and inspiration but you don’t need to follow the exact ingredients in order to be successful. For those with significant food restrictions, I’d recommend adding the upgrade for the 1:1 call or lifestyle audit.
