From postpartum to perimenopause, and everything in between.

For 15 years, I’ve worked one-on-one with men and women, using nutrition to improve their health and support their bodies. As a mother, I now focus on helping women from postpartum to perimenopause. These periods, despite being mostly ignored in the medical world, are some of the most demanding and fast-changing seasons in our lives. In short, moms deserve better.

01. Book an initial visit

 

We’ll settle in for a 90 minute call to talk everything you. What’s going on with your body, your health and family history, your symptoms and goals. By the end of this session you will have a big picture plan with first action steps, and a list of recommended labs that will give us the important data we need so we know exactly what to get to work on.

02. Discover the root issues

 

We’ll look under the hood to see what the root causes of your symptoms are. This isn’t a bandaid—this is a deep dive into uncovering what your body needs to thrive. Alison will recommend which basic and functional labs would be the right fit for you, and order for you. Some of the more “basic” labs can be requested and run by your doctor.

03. Regular Meetings with Alison

 

Think of this work somewhere in between medical visits and therapy. We don’t just diagnose and ditch - we walk you through the steps you need to take to make the right changes that will have the biggest impact. We’ll have regularly scheduled calls to discuss your labs, custom nutrition recommendations, track your health, and adjust course when necessary.

04. Long-Term Change

 

Once we identify the foods, supplements, and practices that best support your body, you’ll have the confidence to continue to improve and maintain your health on your own.

Customized Labwork

Test, don’t guess.

 

Each private nutrition client has the option of adding a range of lab panels to their packages. Ranging from nutrient to hormone to gut testing, these at-home tests go way beyond what standard blood work can offer, giving us a detailed look into your body’s core functions. While these panels are optional, I recommend them to each client so that we can quickly get to the root of any deficiencies or imbalances.
